Bridal photography

I’m not gonna lie…I love bridal photography.  Spending time capturing the bride on her wedding day is one of my favourite things to do.  Sure, I love the fashion and the flowers, but there’s also a feeling of drama and expectation when you get a bride in front of the camera.  Today I thought I’d share a few of my favourite bridal portraits from the last few years.

Krista had such a strong sense of style when she married James at Contemporary Calgary.  It was pure Hollywood glamour.

This simple portrait of Samantha amongst the cherry blossoms may be one of my favourite images of all time.  The following spring, Samantha married Pete in High River.

Kari married Derek in an orchard overlooking Kalamalka Lake, so we took advantage of the natural setting for some gorgeous shots of the bride.

While technically this photograph of Sarah was part of an inspiration shoot at Meadow Muse Pavilion in Fish Creek Park, it was just too soft and pretty not to include.

Last but certainly not least, Krista married Jeremy at the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis.  After their ceremony, we stole away to a nearby mountain meadow for some beautiful backlit shots of the bride.

A while ago I shared a few of my favourite wedding veils, if you’d like to see.
