Back in January, I took a short trip to New York for a photography workshop (more on that later). I took this photo while wandering in Greenwich Village and when I started thinking about it, I realized that I think I have a thing for mirrors. Here are a few of my favourite mirror shots from the last year or two.

When I was in Palm Springs this past Christmas, I came across this colorful building that was under renovation. I was immediately taken by the bright hues and had to grab the camera.

Imagine my surprise when I came across this article yesterday on A Cup of Jo. Joanna is right, The Saguaro would be magnificent for a wedding. Sign me up.

Hmmmm, Paris. It’s just one of those places that I return to again and again. I’ve been reminiscing and pouring over old photos (film at that time) and thought I would share some favorites from my last trip in 2006. I’m headed there again and would love to meet up with you for an engagement, bridal or just-because shoot against the backdrop of this spectacular city. Hope to see you there.

This is a photo from a fall trip to Kelowna. In all of my trips to Kelowna, I have never visited the Father Pandosy Mission before. What a great place with amazing backdrops for photo shoots. We happened to catch it on a beautiful fall day with beautiful light. This is light reflected through the window of the “Brother’s House” which housed antique washing machines, cream separators etc.
